I had to stand on the train
this pensioner
this old lady with dementia
she told me to stand
she took my seat
chatteringskin shudderingteeth

she says:
"we built these trains
when we were your age
when we could still see the sky
we invented them
moulded them created them
they're ours

i was so deep into this... when i read the last china line... it made me sad.. i know you were probally being synical... but its the truth how everything is made from there... and well.. im rambling.. but your poem made me stop and wonder if anything the elders have done for us is really anything better then what we do today.. i mean obviously their accomplishments were very much like ours... do i make sense? lol probally not but im still digging this poem either way!
