Huh

So I woke up at 4am today and couldn't get back to sleep. Wierd. I suspect it may have been hunger. Though I wasn't terribly hungry I did run 11 miles yesterday and then not eat dinner. The post-run-lack-of-appetite lasted a really long time and then by the time I was hungry it was like 30 min til I wanted to sleep, and I hate going to bed on ( Read more... )

Psh! Not exactly a balanced question for you is it? Like asking an alcoholic if they'd want a perfect liver, or a runner perfect lungs (this is rhetorical cause I'm totally aware you'd sign up for both these too).

Okay okay, so everyone wants no sleep, a super efficnent liver, and perfectly regulated lungs. Not really a difficult question.

How about, would you be immortal if you could? (eternal youth pre-assumed)

Ye gods! Rather one sided response on this it seems. Not at all like the 'would you be immortal?' question I tend to pose to people (thus far I've only one taker on that one).

I'm all for immortality but with the sleep, I dunno. I would love the extra time but I do love sleeping next to someone. Tough call to be certain.

I would SO not be immortal. What's your reasoning behind it?

And sleeping next so someone? What's that? BWHAHAAHAH!!! (Oh yeah, I'm deep in the throws of self-pity now).

But I was actually thinking about that, and how if you DIDN'T have to sleep, then it would be based on pure pleasure and not necessity, the sleeping next to someone and whatnot. But it might be good to have to be forced to sleep, because it makes time for sleeping next to someone.

I don't know if that makes sense.

Woop woop woop ZING.

Medicine, gymnastics, martial arts, acting, scientific research, cooking, baking, sex, Mars, Brittain, China, Easter Island, Brazil, coffee, cheese, seafood, wine, teaching, books, running, triathalons, espionage, bank robbery, theivary, lead singer of a band, novel writting, photography, journalism, gene manipulation, flight, teleportation, explorer, adventures! To be a master of each! To do everything and go everywhere! This is why I'd be immortal.

Sleeping next to someone. *sigh* It's like the first kiss, all the time. Just... perfect.

I'm not sure I follow you on how sleeping next to someone is a necessity. Is it not always a choice? Aside from the occational need for warmth or lack of space how is it not always for pleasure?

I'm gonna take a guess and say you're a bit punchy or I'm a bit slow cause I'm utterly lost (yet pleasantly amused) by 'Woop woop woop ZING.' Brings to mind the Animaniacs setting off a false alarm and then jumping out to surprise everyone "ZING!"
