He is precious! I'm glad you are doing well. I'm gearing up for another "year of me." Wanna join? This is going to be a good one! Out with complainy, and in with ... Whatever the opposite is. I don't know because I've never gone there, lol. Talk to you soon. Oh, and you can keep your ten below. Our ten above is already ridiculous enough! Oops ... Complaining already. This is going to be a work in progress. :)

I am totally in for another year of me. It was going to start with me writing that e-mail I owed you, but my internet kept going out and now I am going to smash this computer. Of course it posts this fine and makes a liar out of me. And then our water heater broke, and I have water all over my basement at this moment. Which isn't really the part that's bothering me, it's the part where I had to call the guy and talk to him, and now he is coming to the house to fix it. I'd rather go out in the 10 below and plow the drive myself than deal with a stranger. Booo.

Wait, this noncomplain-y post did not last long. Well, truth be told that was just to make me sound decent to the folks who don't know I'm a total spaz. You know the real me. I'm all about the way it is. And the way it is is me being a shut-in who can't deal with people. Help!!!

What a beautiful, sweet boy!

And you know that none of us would mind if you did want to come here and complain... we just love to hear from you.

Aw, don't get me started. Too much together time here, I think it's driving me crazy!!! Is it cold enough there for you? I'm sure you're in the same boat!

What the hell with this. And I just got an alert that said 6 more inches of snow coming (on top of the 8 that's already here) and 20 to 30 below in wind chill for tomorrow. That ain't right.

aww pretty puppy. I look forward to moving because I will adopt a pup, too. (and when I say puppy I do mean adult dog.)

you did not reply to my email and give me your address! I have a stamped card all sealed up with your name on it and nowhere to send it. :(

Ah! I have a to-do list and "write back to Pip!" is at the top! (apparently not before "random posting on LJ?") ;) But I seriously do have you on my list, believe it or not, because I am one of those anal people with lists for everything. And once something is on my list it's pretty much ironclad! So I promise to get to you soon.

I am so glad to hear that you are adopting an adult puppy! (I call all of my dogs puppies even when they are all grumpy old couch potatoes!). I didn't mean to get on my soapbox about it. It just makes me so sad to see all these great dogs, and I think that sometimes people have the wrong idea and think that they are untrainable and have bad habits and are set in their ways. I hope you send a pic of your new furbaby when you get settled and pick one out!

Awww that makes me so happy to see him snuggling with you like that!! He's come so far in such a short time!! What a sweetie! (Let's just hope he doesn't like snuggling enough to try crawling into bed with you ;) )

He's still scared of Nellie, though! He just cowers around her! (and secretly I'm like, hey, man, go with your gut on that ... we all kind of fell that way) ;)

Oh, and they loved the bones! That was a really great brand. I took that pic because you can see it in one that Parka has it with her. They don't fight over them. They have really enjoyed chewing them, and they keep going back to them; they've gotten them down about the same rate, which is nice. They split them lengthwise, and they've been chewing them nonstop. It was definitely a good gift to them! In fact, I woke up in the middle of the night about two nights ago and someone was sleepily chewing one!!

Aww I'm glad! I was a bit worried about them fighting over them! And I'm glad they lasted--they had " mastodon " ones too, which were like cow femurs, a which I though would be *too* big, but I wasn't sure if those were big enough for your huge puppies! Glad we chose rightly! Also you should try strapping one dig each to your feet to keep warm--the high Tuesday is -2 (what's....?!?)

Happy new year! What a cute dog :) I'm sorry to hear about Kilo!

It's negative twenty six over here (Celsius) which was a bit of shock--I just flew in this morning, from somewhere it was only a couple degrees below. Didn't enjoy hauling my suitcase home, but I'm indoors and warm now so it's all okay. Hope it warms up there soon too! Cabin fever is terrible.

WHOA! That is bone-numbingly cold!!! I just did the conversion and that is truly miserable. It turns out that that is pretty much exactly where our temps are right now, but I hope it doesn't last long. I don't mind winter but this extreme cold is too much. You must be way up north in Canada, so I hope you dodged the worst of that snow that just came through. Aren't you ready for spring? *sighs*

Oh noo! That sucks :( It's like half of North America is in deep freeze or something.

Ironically I moved somewhere it is supposed to be much warmer (near the Can/US border too) but it's freezing today! I am so ready for spring.
