It's those things, on top of the other things, and the other things... that all become so overwhelming when they're all on you to deal with.

Oh, I had hoped to capture that feeling. At the same time I hope it isn't too dreary. But I have been feeling that lately, so perhaps this is more personal than I thought. Argh!

It's a very familiar feeling and one I think most people can relate to... at least, I'm sure anyone with children can! But the sense of there being that last straw... the stupid printer or some other stupid thing that doesn't work...

Oh my gosh, it's so great to hear from you! I'm bummed that you are reading one of my totally blah pieces after all this time; it makes me seem like I am going the wrong direction! How are you? What are you up to these days? I've missed reading your work but I assume you have some really great things going on in RL! I'd love to hear all about it!

What a delightful depiction of so many peoples reality. I remember doing an IT job where the main reason for issues was forgetting to check that things were plugged in. Quite fun, although I feel sorry for your lady.

Ha, yes, it reminds me of the show "The IT Crowd", which, if you worked in tech you will certainly appreciate. "Did you try turning it off and on again?" :D
