GIVEN HOW FANTASTIC ELLIOT IS WITH CHILDREN he would want to die very quickly, a fact that I am sure bittyVincent would shamelessly use to his advantage. While Elliot adores his family and would do anything for them, that doesn't mean he has a clue about what to do about children. It helps that Vincent's creepiness tends to mean that he comes across as far older than he looks, but there's a lot of "oh god oh god it's a child what do I do LEO FIX THIS ;;"

So basically Elliot would try to be a good big brother but would mess it up spectacularly, and it would be hilarious.

Positions are reversed! What does Vincent do with a bitty Elliot?

Adult Vincent is distant and maybe a bit of a bully because. that's what he does. He would probably not be very attentive or loving because . . . he's Vincent . . . But if Elliot sincerely needed it like, some dude came up to Elliot with a knife or something then yeah Vincent would step in and act super nonchalant about it. If it were something more mundane (like idk getting something from the top shelf) then he would try to shove the responsibility off to Gil someone else before doing something about it himself. Elliot is definitely his the most precious of his not-Gil siblings and pretty relevant, but Vincent is... Vincent... idk never hire him to babysit

+ Elliot consciously started fights with a few of his loved ones to get them away from him, in case Yura tried to hurt them. Unfortunately, he got too invested in the fights and now he considers them real+ Elliot doesn't think he'll ever be kissed by someone when not under mistletoe. It used to be kind of comforting. Now he's been in camp long enough that he's a little saddened by it - it seems like a nice thing to have some kind of physical contact that isn't ... from his family

Elliot actually finds her quite endearing. He finds her persistence as directed at him annoying, because there's nothing she can do about what's troubling him and he will adjust to his change of circumstances in his own time so help him god. He thinks that aimed at people not him, it is a vital force for good and can change people for the better. It's why he thinks that she and Alice are good for one another - Alice grounds Machika in realism while Machika helps Alice to overcome her own trauma and become a more outwardly focused individual. In that light, he thinks that her ability to be a big bottle of sunshine everywhere is a really good and powerful thing.

It just makes him intensely uncomfortable to have that directed at him.

He has yet to realise that he has the same effect on people, and that is why he is so uncomfortable - it should be him helping her to his mind and not the other way around. Of course, if he realised that, he would shrug and say that it's different because Elliot does not need your ray of sunshine

Here are some frequent thoughts Necoco has on Elliot, in no particular order:

1) Hottie
2) Boy has issues
3) Let me take care of you
4) He should go to a more modern world after Camp, write historical fiction, teach fencing, maybe find a nice older man to take care of him, and be happy for once.
5) Fencers really do have some of the best asses I have ever seen. (See also: Hottie)

Most of his other thoughts are perfectly friendly. He does actually like Elliot a lot, and not just for his face.

HAHA oh god Elliot would be miserable in that kind of life.

But seriously, Elliot feels kind of resigned and tired and unhappy in regards to Necoco. Like. Okay. I understand that this may come as a shock to absolutely no-one, but Elliot is a lot nicer and compassionate than he first appears - he yells and carries on and is occasionally terribly thoughtless but Ada remarks that Elliot's actually a very shy person and that's fairly accurate. It's more that he's a very proud and very sensitive person, but shy works. So basically Elliot is acutely aware that he is not the person that Necoco wants, still. While Necoco has grown to like him as he is, there's always going to be this part of him that is looking for the other Elliot. Elliot refuses to think of him as the real Elliot because that's him, thank you very much. But he does keenly feel that Necoco misses the old Elliot, and misses the things that Elliot simply cannot give him because he's too ... Elliot
