IN CHARACTER: Aradia is pretty okay with camp, actually. It's hard to be terrified of camp because her canon is worse, everyone is alive ... and okay she's aware that the events here do not count. It's a nice holiday, certainly, but the things in camp do not matter. So she's not that connected with camp and she's not that fussed about what happens. So what if stuff happens. She's pretty zen with it. She knows what's going to happen, because she's Aradia.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Guess what? A character that isn't that invested in camp, doesn't care either way and who has a weird attitude? Hard to play. WHO KNEW. I've been drifting with her for a while and I'm not sure where Hussie is taking her. I've been waiting for a while for him to hurry up and return with her, but I'm not really clicking with her. I can see that I will be dropping her very soon, unless I can get my mojo back.

archaeocalypse IN CHARACTER: Aurica is annoyed at camp, actually, because Lyner is in camp and Lady Shurelia and Lyner hasn't made his move omg!! She's feeling insecure in that she doesn't know where she stands with Lyner, and she kind of sees Shurelia as a rival!!1 Because of all that, she is insecure and sulky and disinclined to talk to people, though she knows that she probably should. She is basically having a sulk. STUPID LADY SHURELIA.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Aurica is nearing the end of her tenure, I think. I don't play her as often as I should or could, and I don't reach for her as often as I should. I keep meaning to replay her canon to remember why I loved her, but if I don't get around to doing it or reading the replay, I may let her go.

hymnandmusicbox IN CHARACTER: So upside: Elliot has a girlfriend who he holds hands with and is kind of super dere with. On the downside, he now thinks that he has his illegal Chain back, that he's a danger to everyone, and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it. As Vincent pointed out, they can't exactly keep him in prison, and obviously death doesn't work so now there's a sick sinking feeling that he's a monster. It doesn't help that Robin died in very similar circumstances to how his family died. Toss in a whole bunch of trauma from the fourth wall event and Elliot is basically functioning through sheer bloody-mindedness. He's Elliot Nightray, he doesn't collapse and stop functioning! He's horrified that he did for even a minute, man. Also the subconscious post thing annoys him because he doesn't want to talk about his past. :|
OUT OF CHARACTER: HAHA OH GOD so Elliot kind of became my primary and I love him a lot. I am kind of riding the dramallama into the sunset, but as this month's chapter made abundantly clear, I cannot beat Mochizuki at the dramallama. I have moments where I am "what am I even doing", especially with the whole romance thing, but I want to thread with with him forever and essay about him and yes. Also canon seems to make it pretty clear that Elliot and Leo are super gay for each other.

kepthishead IN CHARACTER: So Hope has realised that firstly that Lightning has gone home and secondly that she has disappeared in their canon. He's said as much to Vanille in her subconscious post thingy, but he doesn't really want to talk about it. I am assuming that, to keep canon events consistent with FFXIII-2 that he has Light's knife in camp, but he's keeping that to himself. He doesn't want to worry anyone. It's how Hope rolls. He's slooowly settling into camp, he's admitted that he's a mage to people and he's slowly making connections about his magic thing, such as with Anders.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I was kind of awkward with Hope for a while but I think I'm better with him? Maybe? I don't care, he grows up to be a total hottie in the sequel and he's a quiet, sarcastic inspiration to everyone and I love playing his quiet sense of humour a lot. He's great fun and once my workload eases up (which will be THIS WEEK) I will be ready and able to play him all the more. I am so excited. I am replaying his canon at the moment in anticipation for the sequel and so exciting omg.

actualizedname IN CHARACTER: Julian is kind of rattled at the moment, though damned if he admits to it. Fighting Magneto naked in a bathroom didn't really make him feel very secure, especially as Magneto kind of trounced him something shocking. Then Brianna found out that his world kind of sucks spectacularly, she found out his plan about how he's going to fix things and now everything is sucky. It doesn't help that he and Cess fought and now Cess is going off to ask Charles about what to do about him. Jay is suspicious of him and his motives, and basically everything mostly sucks.
OUT OF CHARACTER: MARVEEEEEEEEEEL!! One day Marvel will remember who Julian is and what his personality is, but until then MARVELLLLLLL. Then again, Marvel would have to remember that the NXM characters exist at all. Good times! But I am kind of hilariously amused at how Julian's life is going terribly and how he thinks that he is TOTALLY COVERING for his stuff and isn't. Because I am a terrible person. idek, I couldn't drop him, he still has to pimp Xavier's ride and do dumb things with the babymutants and maybe one day Marvel will write what I want them to write. Maybe.

needsahandjob IN CHARACTER: ...Luca has no IC stuff because I haven't played him in weeks.
OUT OF CHARACTER: OKAY SERIOUSLY I have to suck it up and play him or drop him. I want to play him so maybe if I drop a few characters then I can start playing Luca properly. I really need to actually do something with him. I would like to play him. I need to just do it already and stop talking myself out of it.

bad_reromance IN CHARACTER: Luke is kind of super sad that his castmates have gone home but he's gritting his teeth and pretending to be okay. It's working better than he thinks (of course he thinks that because Luke is deluded enough to think that he is convincing anyone at all) but he is kind of sad and pretending otherwise. Good times.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Luke is pretty much nearing the end of his tenure in camp, I'm afraid. I've had him for a while, and he's lost most of his canonmates, he's kind of just trucking along now and I don't think I have his voice any more. I honestly am keeping him at this point for stupid reasons and I need to either finish his canon review or drop him.

areplicatedhope IN CHARACTER: So Ronan didn't die as a result of the plot despite his best efforts. He's now throwing himself into the plot and finding out what's going on, though he is pretty much convinced that he is going to mess it up somehow. He has crappy self-esteem by the way. It happens. Other than that, he is trolling people as he does, being awkwardly nerdy around Garrus and being Ronan.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I have neuroticism about him all the time. I really hope that I pull off his sense of humour, because he's meant to be sarcastic but not ... mean spirited about it. I also am hoping that he doesn't come across as a mary sue or anything, because I love him and his crazy flaws and yes. :( I also hope that his writer isn't reading this. :( He had better be in the next book because otherwise I would be sad.
