EPIC LATE GRADUATION PRESENT
My Aunt Merry called today and said that one of the presents in the Christmas package from that side of the family was, in fact, a graduation present that she'd never gotten to give me before and that I should make sure that it didn't get missed because it was small and expensive. So, after work tonight, I found and opened the small jewelry box.
Terrible picture is terrible, but it was a Roman Sesterce from Nero's reign!
The obverse says "IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P P"
The reverse has Nike and probably says "VICTORIA AVGVSTI/ S - C", but it's hard to tell.
I'm geeking out about this so hard. I've been doing numismatics research for the last hour.
