Maka stood up and stretched her arms toward the ceiling. "I'm going to bed." she yawned, clicking off the t.v. Soul stood up and stretched as well. "Me too." he yawned. Maka walked off to her bedroom and Soul to his.
Maka colapsed onto her bed. She pulled the covers around her and put her head on her pillow. As soon as she got comfotorble, it started pouring rain and thundering. Maka was terrified of thunder.
There was a loud crack of thunder and maka's eyes widened. There was a louder crack of thunder, sounding like a gun shot, and maka shrieked and dove under the covers, shaking. She heard footsteps in the hall and peeked out from under her blanket. There was another loud crack of thunder, and maka dove back under the covers, letting out another shriek.
"Maka? You okay? I heard you screaming." Maka heard Soul's voice coming from her doorway. She slowly peaked from under her covers. "I'm fine, thanks So-" there was another loud crack of thunder and maka stopped her sentance and dove back under the covers. Soul smiled. "you're afraid of thunder?" He asked. He heard a faint yes under the covers. He walked over and sat at the edge of her bed. "Anything i can do?"
"N-No i'm fine." she said. Soul sighed. "Whatever you say." he said, getting up and turning towards the doorway. Another loud crack of thunder caused Maka to shriek again. Soul shook his head and walked towards the door. "Wait, Soul!" "yes?" soul turned around. "C-Can you sleep in here tonight?!" soul blushed. "O-Okay." he said. he walked over to Maka's bed and climbed under the covers. Maka scooted a bit closer and closed her eyes.
Soul's face reddened. She was a bit close to him. He layed there, staring at the back of her head. Maka rolled over to look at him. Soul quickly averted his gaze, blushing. "You should go to sleep too, Soul." she said.
"I'll stay awake till you fall asleep." he said. Maka blushed. "Ok, whatever you want." she said, closing her eyes. Soul stared at her face again. He really wanted to kiss her, but he didn't want to get maka-chopped. That shit hurt. Maka felt Soul staring at her. His soul wavelength was filled with love. Maka opened one eye and stared at soul. "You ok? What you staring at?" Soul blushed. "N-Nothing."
Maka giggled at his blush and closed her eye again. Soul decided he could take a Maka-chop and leaned over and kissed her. Maka kissed him back. Soul blushed deeply, comepletely surprised. When they pulled apart, Maka smiled at him. "You look surprised."
Soul nodded. "i was."
Maka giggled again. "You're so cute." she said, kissing him again.
Soul smiled. "I love you maka."
"I love you too Soul."
