The doc called around midnight to say they had removed something that looked like a hazelnut from her intestine. They were able to back it up into her stomach and cut that open, which was preferable from a healing standpoint. They said that once that had him open they saw a couple of spots inside and decided to biopsy them. Additional charges,

Most cats won't eat much in the hospital, so he will probably make up for lost time when he gets home. He will probably be on a special diet for a few days, though. Glad he's coming home!
