The Morning After (Closed to lasgalenlegolas )

Since meeting Legolas, Willow had a lot of firsts in her life. She was in love and while that wasn't a first because she had honestly loved Oz, it hadn't been this deep or this fast. She'd been aware that what she'd felt for him, while wonderful, hadn't really been like what Buffy and Angel had. She couldn't say that anymore. What she felt for ( Read more... )

Willow snuggled in Legolas' arms, reaching out to play with the strands of his hair. For the first time in her life she understood what the term making love really meant. She'd been in love with Oz, but what she felt for Legolas was so much deeper than that. The bond connecting them was a part of that to be sure, but it was also the man himself. What she felt for him, while love, was deeper, richer than what she'd felt with Oz.

With his emotion filled words of love, she extended her neck to place a soft kiss on his jaw. "I wish I could draw." Willow said softly which sounded like a non sequitor but wasn't really. "I wish I could capture this expression. I mean I can in my memories but I wish I could on paper." She moved her hand from his hair to his jaw. "You look so happy and loved." And to know that she put that expression there was a very heady feeling. Willow also knew that she was wearing the exact same expression since she felt happy and loved, as well.

Legolas watched her, seeing emotions and thoughts travel across her face, through her eyes. This relationship was life changing for both of them. He smiled at her words.

"I am happy and loved and you look the same. There is a great deal of joy and power in being the one to make you look that way. I hope that you always look at me so. I know you and this time will live forever in my memories."

Willow smiled softly, "Oh I will always look at you like this."

She, Buffy, Xander and even Giles had the Hellmouth curse when it came to relationships but this wouldn't go that way. Even if they were separate forever after the village, this time with him would have been worth it.

"I can't see the future even if I have taken Divination, but this is easy to predict." She grinned. "I'll always be happy with you."

"I am grateful for the time we are given," Legolas admitted, "even though it is limited, I would not miss this time with you for anything." Legolas leaned forward and kissed her; a slow, tender kiss of love and devotion. His hand cupped her face and he smiled as he had a realization.

"Our bond. It is stronger now. I had failed to notice in the midst of such physical and emotional stimulation."

it's a beta program so it's not perfect but I couldn't resist and their little faces are so sweet. It morphs photos into baby pictures. The top one is Aly and Legolas, the bottom is Aly and Orlando

"Rest, beloved," Legolas said softly, his fingers brushing her hair gently. "Nor I a mother."

As they lay there resting, Legolas contemplated what he was about to do, what they were about to do. Legolas had fought for and helped win the freedom of Middle-earth from evil but now he would have the greatest battle of his life on his hands. To somehow preserve his family, to convince the Valar that this was a worthy cause, to beg for their aid if needs be.

Willow's eyelids lowered as the steady thrum of his heart sent her to sleep. Her dreams were filled with children and happiness, something that Willow had never dreamed of before.
