I really liked this! I have this prejudice that mpreg stories are always going to be badly written--and yours is the best one I've read! The believability of it, too; I know that, for myself, trying to write mpreg was impossible for a long time because I just couldn't get to that 'willing suspension of disbelief' in my head for it to work.

And it had zombies! I don't even like zombies but they really shaped the atmosphere in this story--I enjoyed it. :)

aw, thank you so much! i must admit, even though i like mpreg, i'm too picky to read 80% of what's out there, so i figured what the hell: might as well write one or two of my own.

i'm glad the atmosphere (and the zombies! lord, i don't know where the hell this plot bunny came from) worked for you! thanks for reading :D

It makes sense that Sam would have this, as well as all the other crap in his life. His reaction to being a fertile was sad, but honest. Dean's reaction was interesting, but after I'd thought about it, absolutely believable.

I wish you'd had the time to develop the history of the fertiles more (why do they get tattooed like that?), but it was still a wonderful backdrop for your story. Also, I really enjoyed your apocalyptic world. It was dark and pretty much hopeless, and then it wasn't. Showing how hard it was for them to adjust once it was gone was a nice touch, and also believable.

All in all, a really enjoyable read. Thank you!

thank you so much! to be honest, i have a whole back story about the fertile climate in my head but i was scared it would detract to the narrative...plus, i liked the little bit of mystery ;) i'm glad it intrigued you enough to mention it! i'm so happy you liked my big bang!! :D
