nothing works out the way you want it to.That is not very positive and uplifting. It is not very accurate, either. So often, we get caught up with everything that has gone wrong that we don't even notice all the good things God has given us and done in our lives. I for one am a victim of this. I used to always bum around about how nothing is happening the way I want it to. Then down the road...I notice all the little steps God was putting in my way that led me to an even better place

this is true... but it would be nice if just once somthing went right for longer than one weekend. if you could count on just one thing to be secure. if you knew the poeple who were going to let you down ahead of time.

and somtimes i wish i still could believe in fairy tales... but you tend to stop believing when the carriege keeps turning back to the pumkin but you dont get to keep the glass slipper.
Ahh, but you still do believe in fairy tales. Otherwise it wouldn't hurt so much that the carriage turned into a pumpkin and you lost your glass slipper.
The trick is not to walk away frtom the myths, but to let God turn them on their ear. The Cinderella myth has some wisdom for you: if you feel trapped back in mundanity, you shouldn't, because the future King is looking for you, glass slipper in hand.
Keep your heart open to God's gracious love. It will work out.
maybe true... maybe i do still think there is a way for God to make everyhting work out... i guess its just hard... cuz i never feel like im getting to benefit from his perfect plan. i guess some of us just arnt made for the easy road... or not even neciasarily easy... but even enjoyable.
