1) What was your FIRST video game console?
Sega Genesis.
2) Name a few games you played on said console.
I liked the Sonic games, especially Sonic 2 (I used to play it over and over while listening to music, and to this day some albums still remind me of it), and for some reason was inordinately fond of Ecco the Dolphin. Also some movie-based games, 'cause back then, sometimes they didn't suck... I think the Aladdin game was pretty decent, for example.
3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
I have a Wii, an Xbox 360, and a PS2.
4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
I don't think I've ever actually played it.
5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Haha, someone's biased. I don't pay that much attention to designers, honestly, so I doubt I could even tell you which games Capcom made/makes. Yes, I know, I'm a bad gamer.

As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?

7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG?
I will always have a fondness for Final Fantasy X, because (noob alert) it was my first RPG, and I still adore the battle system and sphere grid beyond all reason. I also loved Shadow Hearts Covenant.
8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
I suppose it depends on the type of game? 3D games are more immersive, but also more likely to give me motion sickness, so maybe it's a draw... heh.
9) Are you an SNK fan?
Considering I had to look them up to see what they've actually done, and haven't played any of those games...

Not really. I can just about get through most songs on medium.

No, because generally game tie-ins suck.

I really have no interest in sports games, unless they're really silly and cartoony like Wii Sports or the Mario sports games or whatever. And I don't really like FPSes, unless it's something like Bioshock, because Bioshock owns you and is better than everything ever.
19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love?
The Shadow Hearts series, especially the second one (haven't finished the others yet). It's a great RPG that's unique in a lot of ways. Instead of a typical fantasy setting it's set in an alternate-history version of WWI with magic and demons, and each character has interesting special abilities (my favorite is the girl who causes damage and status effects by using tarot cards and mixing aromatherapy oils) and their own fairly in-depth sidequest to follow. Plus the games are partially inspired by Lovecraft, and he even appears as an NPC in the third game! <3
20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?
LIKE IT'S MY JOB. And for some reason I have a serious Mario Party rage problem. I am generally not too bad a sport about competitive multiplayer games, but for some reason every time I play Mario Party I end up swearing at the screen, swearing at the other players, threatening to throw important pieces of hardware out the window, and various other bad behaviors. *hangs head* I am properly ashamed.

48. What are you afraid of?
Never making anything of myself, which is looking more and more likely every day thanks to my anxiety and lack of motivation. Also, losing my friends and people I care about and being left alone. And rare deadly diseases... or non-rare deadly diseases... or any diseases actually.
49. Salty or sweet?
Sweet. Unless I've had too much sweet stuff already.
50. How many keys on your key ring?
Four or five, probably.
52. If you can choose your talent, what would it be?
I would like to be a better and more confident writer... or if it's a talent I don't have at all, I sort of wish I could draw.
53. Do you make friends easily?
If I'm in the right circumstances. I'm not sure if I could move to a totally new place where no one knew me and start making friends, though. Which is part of why I don't want to. >.>
