that really sucks. and is actually a huge reason that i don't drive. i've been known to almost get in fist fights with customers before, i would have been in that truck with him beating him with a snow brush at that point. road rage? who me? you jest i say jest!
my mom almost broke my finger off the time that i flipped someone off for passing me on 8 when i still had a permit...
The snow brush idea sounds tempting. I wish I'd had the presence of mind to notice the license number and call the cops. I don't know if they could actually do anything, but I can't imagine the law looks kindly upon repeatedly screaming in a stranger's face that you'd like to kill them.
Yeah, I definitely prefer having someone to drive with, but the way my work schedule is, sometimes when I'm free to run errands everyone else is still at work. And I thought if I went out earlier in the afternoon I'd be able to avoid the really crazy traffic... so much for that idea. I guess a lot of people just took the whole week off.
I'm going home a day early for Christmas, in part because I just really don't want to deal with being in Buffalo anymore at the moment. Living right off Niagara Falls Blvd may be convenient most of the time, but right now it means I can't go anywhere without being stuck in traffic for an hour.
That was truly uncalled for. He shouldn't have been driving at all. Tonight, I went to my local shopping mall, which is in a very bad location to begin with. I was about to make a right at the green light to enter the plaza, and the car behind the car in front of me going the opposite direction (so he was making a left after I make the right into the plaza) pulls out and makes his turn right in front of me. He did not even have the right of way, but he was impatient and could have caused a major accident. It's a good thing I don't jump on the gas as soon as the light turns green. Our brains can get hardwired sometimes. Grr.
Ouch. Yeah, I've seen a lot more reckless driving over the past week or so than usual. Which is part of why this guy's torrent of hate floored me, because I really didn't do anything wrong. It's not like I cut him off or made an illegal turn or anything... in that case it still would've been totally inappropriate to say those things, but at least it would be a reaction to something. All I can figure is at worst I slowed the guy down a little, but he would've had to do that anyway because of the person in front of me who stopped to make a left...
Oh well. Dude was probably just crazy anyway. I suppose I'm just lucky he didn't actually have a weapon. >.>

You just need to not drive by yourself is all. You focus on the road, let your passenger fight the idiots on the road for you. ;)
