*grins* Maybe that's what they do with all the leftover fingers from fingerless gloves! Kind of like doughnut holes...

That's what I've always thought!

(They do really make donut holes, some places sell them!)

((I distinguish between donuts, the American toroids, and doughnuts with jam or whatever filling. Ich liebe ein Berliner *g*...))

*hugs*

If you were really, really desperate (and willing to pay...*g*) I'm sure I could knit you some fingerpuppets and attach them to each other, with a string to join them to a wristband to keep them in place. Not much different in concept from the golfing glove I have a pattern for, really, though that's a back and thumb only, no palm or fingers!

I've also seen "muffin tops." Those look as if they've taken just the part of the muffin that overflowed the baking mold and threw away the bottom.

At under the melting point of ice I can stand to wear gloves. It's the range from around there to about 15C above that I have the problem, my fingers still get chilled (especially with windchill) but gloves are far too hot. I find this in the office, the temperature may be around 18C and my body is happy with that but my fingers are cold typing.

18.5 in the ossif atm without any heating on- a temp that I find pretty much perfect. Helps that it's south facing and it's sunny this morning.

How do I stay fashionable and warm? A Thick, thick winter coat and cosy boots! :o)

As far as I'm concerned with most of my body that temperature is fine (I prefer below 62/16 for sleeping, as long as it isn't condensing). It's just my fingers which complain (and not always, possibly depends on the temperature of the keyboard as well). They are the first to go in windchill as well.

fashionable? Considering I couldn't locate my waterproof coat the other week and so walked down the street and back for my daily exercise with a towel over my head, I don't think I qualify... :)

Towel-head! *g* You should have taken pictures...

I noticed on the answers to this question that a very large number of people replied "what fashion?" or similar.

Well look at an icon with me in it, and imagine a fetching pale blue towel draped over... :)

Yes, this must mean you know the wrong, or more plausibly the *right* sort of people. ;)
