If you were really, really desperate (and willing to pay...*g*) I'm sure I could knit you some fingerpuppets and attach them to each other, with a string to join them to a wristband to keep them in place. Not much different in concept from the golfing glove I have a pattern for, really, though that's a back and thumb only, no palm or fingers!
At under the melting point of ice I can stand to wear gloves. It's the range from around there to about 15C above that I have the problem, my fingers still get chilled (especially with windchill) but gloves are far too hot. I find this in the office, the temperature may be around 18C and my body is happy with that but my fingers are cold typing.
As far as I'm concerned with most of my body that temperature is fine (I prefer below 62/16 for sleeping, as long as it isn't condensing). It's just my fingers which complain (and not always, possibly depends on the temperature of the keyboard as well). They are the first to go in windchill as well.
fashionable? Considering I couldn't locate my waterproof coat the other week and so walked down the street and back for my daily exercise with a towel over my head, I don't think I qualify... :)

(They do really make donut holes, some places sell them!)
((I distinguish between donuts, the American toroids, and doughnuts with jam or whatever filling. Ich liebe ein Berliner *g*...))

I noticed on the answers to this question that a very large number of people replied "what fashion?" or similar.

Yes, this must mean you know the wrong, or more plausibly the *right* sort of people. ;)
