My brain is not with it enough to put together really coherent thoughts, but here goes.
I will stick by this position: Oliver Queen, asshole with a heart of gold.
Really, Oliver? REALLY? How stupid are you? Signing over everything to Isabel? Just because you wanted to skip a board meeting? Grow the hell UP, Oliver. On the one hand: I get it. The show is making the point that Oliver is not the smartest guy in the room, nor is he nearly as mature and adult as he often likes to show. As he himself has said, he flunked out of college and has zero business training. He was not equipped for that job to begin with.
But throwing it all away like that? It was hard to watch him behave so stupidly. Where's the guy who planned the takeover of the Amazo? the guy who fits into the Bratva world seamlessly? Does Slade short circuit his brain that much, that quickly? Yes, he can't handle Thea in danger, but come ON, OLIVER.
The stupid is compounded by his attitude toward Roy, who was absolutely right in his criticism: Oliver removed Thea's most reliable protection by forcing him to break up with her. Also, behaved like an asshole. See above.
Sara continues to be more awesome than anything ever. Please don't kill her show. Please. I could even handle leaving, but I can't handle random killing off for Oliver angst.
Felicity and Diggle are excellent, but too much in the background. Laurel = meh. Moira = awesome.
We'll see if the show is setting Oliver up for a Big Reveal next week. His cover story certainly seems to be unraveling.
