To answer your question, I would go most definately. You are young and you might not ever get another chance to do something like this again. Sometimes you need to do something for you and people will respect you for that.

heyyy* 0k, lo0k at me, i picked up & left everything. in the beginning it was really hard but ive realized it was the best thing i c0uld ever d0, n0 matter h0w much i miss every0ne. if i stayed there, i d0nt think i would of g0t my dimpola && started college. but i d0 miss every0ne.
