Darkness in and of itself isn't exactly evil. [A pause; when he starts talking again, Dark actually sounds wistful for once.] Though I have to agree with you on the light and darkness in harmony thing. Melody and countermelody and all that; how do you appreciate something without knowing what it's like to not have it?

There is no inherent evil or good in dark and light. They are merely two sides of the same coin. Twisted, perhaps, by ulterior motives from those that would wield them, but otherwise merely components.

[A dry chuckle greets the rhetorical question. Zeratul is more than likely giving the communicator an amused glance.]

We watch, and wonder, but from a distance. Always from a distance.

There are so many people I wish you could tell that. To hear them, light is good because it's light and dark is evil because it's dark.
