A Wrinkle in Time

We're still struggling to get Matthew to read books above the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" level. Thinking along the same lines of the "Illustrated Classics Comic Books" route, I picked up a copy of the just-released Graphic Novel adaptation of "A Wrinkle in Time" for Matthew.

Nice! Chris actually teaches Wrinkle in his 5th grade lit class. They did do a made-for-tv movie, if you'd like him to watch it after reading. It's not the best quality, but it's good for kid's his age!

If you'd like him to try reading the Hobbit, they actually make an easier to read comic version! I own an older copy of it, but it looks like Barnes and Noble has since reprinted it and changed the cover. It's out now! It's insanely cute and fun!

My fifth graders just started "Wrinkle in Time"! Great book and the movie is also great.
