I've had this printer/scanner thing for a number of months, now it's time to replace the cartridges

I just thought of somehthing else... If it refuses to print as soon as one cartridge is empty, how can it be that i've run out of *three* inks at exactly the same time. That seems fishy to me. Coincidence maybe... :-/
