So in new and even deeper depths of dickery on my parents part they have sudgested that I wait unitl I am 23 and can sign student loans myself cause they wont co-sign since they don't thing I would pay the loans back

Um, I still get loans and my parents don't co-sign. There's federal stafford loans, and if you have good enough credit you can get more. I'm going half-time off of nothing but loans. Talk to Student Financial Services. You HAVE to be proactive when you want to do something, not sit and watch opportunities go by. Life takes work.
