People are making cosplay plans and posting HUEG lists on their journals (... I stalk a lot, so sue me) and I'm so jealous. I want to make HUEG lists with a thousand characters and wear five costumes to a con and everything. But instead I think I'm gonna wear a lot of old costumes and make some really simple ones because that shit takes A LOT of time. Booo. Though I'd rather keep my sanity.
So I think I'm cutting out the big epic thing I was planning and going with an even bigger, epic thing. Two epic costumes this year, no chance. And the other one's epicness is mostly the orange wings and 80's LOL-value, otherwise it's a pretty simple costume. The other one actually requires a new hoopskirt and miles and miles of velvet and a corset, so.
I worked all week last week (excludng Friday, including Saturday) but not at all this week, yay! School starts on Thursday so I still have two more days of NOTHING TO DO! Awesome. Today I cut up some pipe and made soup, watched anime and didn't shower and only put on a bra around 5pm! Best day. And I accidentally some dishes, and made the sewing room messy and then made it tidier than it originally was. So I did a lot without actually doing all that much. Glorious.
Tomorrow I might actually go outside and get some groceries. Tempted to buy lace, but we're pretty broke this month. We'll be eating a lot of soup this month...
