Turns out I should've been cynical.

EDIT: to clarify, I got her number tonight while hanging out with she and her sister. But then she made it clear to me that she's not interested in dating anyone right now, that she's enjoying being alone, etc...basically all the stuff her sister warned me about months ago when I asked for permission to date
