With no track record, I knew that our odds of being picked up were astronomically high, but it is worth the shot.

We'll be getting it ready for the next submittal in a day or so. Meanwhile, I'll start researching going through an agent.

I know. Sucks, but the Wright Brother's didn't fly on their first try either. ;-)

I honestly don't feel too bad. This was a "top" house that takes unagented submissions. There are other houses and other routes.

We'll try again. In the meantime, I research and go work on more stories. (even the fan fic helps)
