( You know how sometimes you're complaining about something, and the person you're talking to says 'Oh, yeah? You wouldn't believe the shit that happened to me.' With the week I've had, I will win that argument every time. Unless I'm arguing with Tina, who got pneumonia and coughed so hard it cracked a rib. We'll call that a draw. )

I henceforth resolve to use the phrase "awesomesauce" in conversation on a regular basis, because I saw it on the internet, and lo, it was good.

Also, Billy Madison facebooked me after nearly 3 years to ask me how it is going. Erin, plz halp.

The worst thing about living on the knife's edge of a student paycheck is trips to the grocery store. I need rice, milk and eggs, but I want pumpkin pie and those cookies that are nothing but flour, sugar and Red Dye No. 5.

I just used the phrase "textual exegesis" in an essay. In context. Given the general level of the course so far, I might get an A just for that.
