Wow, I really like the juxtaposition of the two Blacks with Peter, the way he tried so hard for Sirius and ended up claiming Regulus, it's really fascinating. Thank you so much for writing this for me! :)

Oh, wow. Like briony_tallis said, I really like the juxtaposition in this piece: the two Blacks with Peter, the way their stories could have gone, and did go, and the tones of each part of the story, too. Light, next to the eventual darkness. It makes sense of why Peter would betray his friends - I can see him wanting power, after being overlooked for so long. Great job with this pairing and fic!

Niiiiice. I love how you portray Peter's relationship with the Marauders (in what we see of them, they do really treat him like crap), and what it did to him and his dreams. A lot of emotion in a little fic!

Thanks! The little that is shown of Peter in canon is what really gets me; we know so little and the little we do see he is not treated like a friend would.

What gets me is that when McGonagall is telling the others about James and Sirius in the Hogshead, Peter is just the kid that followed them around (she doesn't even mention Lupin, but that might be in respect to him being a colleague at the time). Peter was supposedly one of their closest friends, and people who knew them didn't even think of him as part of the group. Youch.
