I think you might just be taking this a little too seriously. the red sox haven't won a world series in 86 years, and they have been taunted by yankee fans about it for a very long time. and now that the sox finally won, they are throwing it back in yankees fans faces. your face. correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldnt you be the first to taunt sox fans (who are your friends) by gloating about the yankees winning? thats just what people are doing to you now. I don't know whos saying to you "move the fuck back home" but thats not cool. calling you or IMing you saying yankees suck is all just the fun of this rivalry. granted, some fans take it too far by burning cars and destroying shit just for the hell of it, or just because they are drunk. but if one of your friends says to you "yankees suck" in the midst of celebrating their teams first championship in 86 years, just let it slide. its all in fun and games.

that was an inside joke with two of my closest friends who happen to be sox fans... they did the same to me... its all fun and games... literally GAMES... i didnt realize i had to put a disclaimer in my profile to not take these things personally
