LIstening to my sister argue w/ everyone including me makes me wonder when she really will be out on her own.... she comes home every weekend, makes us miserable, demands money, the car, etc then leaves.... mark my words, she will not last a month in her appartment.... i've never met someone who argues so much in my life.... damn

1. You don't have to work your ass off for an apartment. NEIA pays the rent and it is added on to your money you owe the school exactly like dorming would be. Except itd be about 3,000 less. (It can be payed for in student loans if wanted).

2. It would've been nice to find out you were backing out differently than reading it in a live journal.

1) i talked to people who have done it before and they spend a total of 4 grand the first year (you still have to pay electric/water/repairs/food/etc) except that is out of your pocket as opposed to loans which everything is covered in dorms

2) you live in conneticut and you call is a toll call and i will be castrated if i make such a call. i was waiting till i either saw you online or u came back.

1. Heat and Cable. Those are the only two bills. Divided by 3, about 25-30 a month. i wouldnt have been so adament on the apt idea if it was gonna be impossible to pay for.

2. Since when is verizon wireless a toll call? I dont have a telephone number for connecticut.

1) read anna's post. she tried to do it last year. you need to pay out of pocket to get the lease, then the school covers the rest of the rent.

2) i have nextel. they rape me in charges. every tex you sent me costed $3 in long distance because it is out of my range, and when you are in another state it costs the same as if u were calling a house in that state.

trust me man i was gonna call you when u got home, but i wrote it here cuz i realized all that it was gonna cost. everyone i've talked to says that its alot out of pocket, but once you have the lease its straight.

The 4grand is just to start. You don't get cash from the school until you already have a lease. To get a lease you need 4grand. Then you use the 3grand for rent each semseter. Trust me, I was gonna do it, but couldn't because it costs way too much out of pocket.
