I think Amgen went ok. It was a really bizarre kind of interview. They have 8 candidates altogether and coralle us all into a room. Then take us one by one to different department heads. I started on a project today. finally. Worked for about 3hrs and got 8 peices cut and grinded. My back is wicked sore now. I forgot how much work and energy it takes. It feels good to be doing something artsy again. I've missed it.

Did my taxes the other day, rather mom did them, but anyway... I am getting back way more than I expected. It couldn't have come at a better time, yay for being able to pay for my bills ( Read more... )

Amgen just called me to tell me they are sending the information packet and application forms. So at least I know they are still interested. The actual interview is on the 27th. Keep everything crossed, pray, tribal chants, dances to the gods, whatever so that I get this job!!! Please.k.thanks.

I feel like I should be working on one of my projects, just dont have the motivation right now. The blanket for my mom is just about done... just have to sew all the squares together. I did the portrait of my Uncle Denny (its going to be my aunts xmas present). Narnia... so good. I dont know how it compares to the book because i have only read Lion, Witch, Wardrobe and it was like 15years ago. I want to read them again though, so if anyone has them, can I borrow? I was really impressed by it.
