Well I had a problem back in the summer time with my tower doing exactly what your description is. Friends of mine who are access techs trying to get their IT licenses said it was a virus when it wasn't. What happened is I had bad sectors on my hard drive. After that was cleaned and almost 3 weeks of no computer pushing my project back big time, my tech had to do a system restore via the Bios. When clearly that made more hell for me when it disabled my USB, printer and modem ports. My now exboyfriend James had to do a fresh install ( ... )
