So, a spider came to visit me tonight and I killed it. I didn't want it to make babies or webs in my apartment, so I smashed it with my slipper. I looked up what the spider means in relation to totem animals:

You just gotta listen to Simon & Garfunkle's "If you're going to San Francisco" haha and there you have it. I like it. It doesn't feel as safe as Seattle or Oregon, but it's diverse. A lot of hippies in California. A lot of sunshine too. Seattle rains too much for me. It can get you sad. Oregon is somewhere in between, but California takes the cake in my opinion. I love the sun and random palm trees.
