Your PB linens look awesome in your IKEA room, though.

Thanks! I am designing the entire room around that gum drop lamp I found for cheap on jcpenny.com. I also want to make my own upholstered headboard when I finally get the motivation to get crafty again. Maybe in hawt orange silk or velvet and tufted with buttons covered in yellow fabric.

HAWT. I think orange silk (maybe shantung? Or that slubby kind? Dupioni, I think?) tufted with orange velvet buttons.

That lamp is my favorite. So super cute.

I spent a small fortune on PB curtains when I bought my house, which would just get coated in cat hair from the two of them sitting in the windows. They were a pain to wash because they required IRONING. It's just not worth it for me to buy that stuff anymore, though I love it.

I love DeeDee's expression.

I also love that lamp.

She is like that all the time but she still loves me. Sometimes Jeremy will talk to her and she will just turn her head the other way in her trademard "whatever" fashion ( ... )

My curtains were the same material and had embroidered daisy appliques on them. I say *had* because I finally got sick of them. I bought curtains of a hardier fabric that is easier to clean, but still lets in enough light, and I transferred some of the appliques to the hem. I like them just as much, if not more, and they are DIY.

You guys were right about the paint color, it does look good. Sweet contrast with the lamp. I approve of your decor (please notify me of any changes at least six weeks prior to completion).

Six weeks? I am not in any danger of doing any work that soon even if the baseboards have still not been painted.
