“Well, I gotta say, this is a nice change.”
“Shut up, House.” Cuddy curled further into the corner of her jail cell and hoped that if she backed far enough into it, she could just disappear.
“The board is going to love…”
“I said, shut up, House.” He opened his mouth once more. “And don’t say a word about conjugal visits.”
House chuckled and raised the object in his left hand. “Got your purse.”
“Did you pay my bail?”
“Wouldn’t have your purse if I didn’t.”
Her features softened as she finally moved closer to the bars separating them. “Thank you, House.”
He smiled and motioned to the guard, who promptly unlocked the cell. “You’re welcome, Cuddy.”
“You’re never going to let me live this down, are you?” she asked as they made their way to his car.
“Never.”

I'm not trying to be mean, or to offend you. (I've seem to be doing that a lot, lately. :( I'm not picking on you, I just want to challenge you (and all fanfic writers) to write better.

He was in a coma; he may never wake up again.
And she had so many things that she had never told him, that she had never wanted to tell him but that she now regretted not saying out loud.
She wanted to scream, to tell him that he was an inconsiderate, selfish pain in the ass … and she couldn’t live without him.
