So, on July 30, 2009, my 23 month old son uttered his first complete sentence. Previously, his "sentences" consisted of "my this!", "more this" or "no!" (he also says "Agua" and "mas" or "no mas". So much for sending him to Synagogue day care ( Read more... )

so *that's* the kind of kid he's going to be..... one of those that skips most of the starters and just jumps right into sentences. Although I can imagine the 'hurt' that his first sentence is to express that he doesn't like your puppet :(

My feelings weren't really hurt. R., with her usual "tact", had already told me she found the puppet creepy. In fact, if I remember correctly, you found my last puppet "a wee bit creepy", too. It just means that Z. has normative tastes. :)

I hope all is well with you. R. and I are really sorry to hear that Bailey is having troubles. Please give my best to S.

LOL a young chap of strong opinions. Very adorable, and I'm sure the kids at daycare are plotting a revolution (or at the very least running classes on parental manipulation ;p ).

:) My partner, who is quite contrary herself, admitted while questioning me, "Well, that is the first sentence a biological child of mine would say." The apple, they say, doesn't fall far from the tree.
