How to download from Bilibili
Here is a lousy video tutorial on downloading from Bilibili:

JDownloader2 used to work as well, but recently it hasn't been able to download bilibili. The extension I use still works but it went through an update so the format is a little different (and much easier to use I think)! Also the old link I gave in the description is dead now so this is the new link.
Instead of having to Inspect page and all, a little tab appears on the bottom-right of the page automatically when you're on a bilibili video:
Click on that and it'll open this selection box. The default setting is advanced download (see explanation in picture) and to have the video parts merged (instead of having to download separate 6-7 minute parts like it used to be for the old version of the extension). The video will be downloaded in the highest available quality.
Click on download and let download reach 100% before you close the browser tab:
You can also switch to the old version and use the old method (the videos will download in full now though!) but why would you do that right?
How to register for a basic account on Bilibili: very short " tutorial"
This only gets you a level 0 account, so you can stream in higher quality, like videos, bookmark videos, but you can't comment or upload (there might be other exclusive features for "proper" members but I don't know them lol).
To become a proper member you either need an invitation code or pass a 2-hr quiz in Chinese. I tried the quiz once, failed, and haven't tried again.
