“Ace” We want to become a group of aces! Our personality and face and singing voice are all very different but we want to develop them into 6 different strengths and become a nice balanced hexagon.
B is for…
“Baka” Baka (lol). All 6 of us are dumb in our own ways. To describe Kinpuri in one word it would be dumbass.
“Battle” All members get along very well but I want us to stay as each other’s ally as well as rival. We want to better ourselves through competition.
“Brave” I want to face every challenge bravely like the hero of a story.
“Bounce To Night” This song gets the crowd the most hyped up in concert!
“Big” We want to become BIG!
C is for…
“Cinderella” Our debut song Cinderella Girl is the most near and dear to my heart. I really like the opening phrase too.
“Cancel” I don’t know why I thought of this word… Ah, but recently I’ve been rejecting a lot of invitations to go out for meals.
D is for…
“Debut” Ever since we were allowed to debut last May, I’ve been able to do a wider range of work.
E is for…
“Equal” I want the 6 of us to keep being connected to each other by an equal sign.
“Easy-going” When the 6 of us are together, the atmosphere is relaxed as though we’re in Hawaii. I feel more at ease when I’m with everyone than when I’m at home.
“Evolution” I want us to stay as an innovative group. So not just prince-like songs but also do wild badass songs etc. and constantly surprise everyone.
“Egg” Currently we are still mere eggs! (lol)
“Ear” Uhh… It’s not that I have poor hearing but I do mishear things a lot…
F is for…
“Faith” We have a bond. When it was 3nin and when it was 6nin, we’re connected by different kinds of bond.
“Family” In Johnny’s, it’s not just within your group, but everywhere you go there is always a family feeling and that is amazing. I feel a family-like bond with fans too. So I want to keep showing my feelings of gratitude.
“Fighter” There are many stars in the entertainment world, so from now on too I’ll keep fighting.
G is for…
“Group” Their presence is important to me. We want to become legendary together as 6.
“Guitar” I’ve been playing with the guitar since I was in primary school but my skills are still nothing to boast about. Last year when I saw Taylor Swift’s concert, something stirred within me so I bought a new acoustic guitar. Since then I’ve been playing it almost every day.
H is for…
“Hirano Sho”
Kishi: He has really good luck! The gods must really love him. What an almighty man.
Kaito: In Kinpuri most of the members feel like a brother to me, but especially Sho really feels like a dependable older brother to me.
Jin: You don’t know what he’ll do next. He’s a guy you can’t predict. So no matter how many years you’ve been together you’ll never get bored.
Ren: He pulls the group forwards.

“Iwahashi Genki”
Kishi: In front of Tiaras, he’s sparkly like an angel but with his inner circle, when he laughs out loud he’ll always let out a funny sound (lol). He’ll snort like a pig. He has that gap.
Kaito: Older brother who is super nice to me.
Jin: His strengths are his gap and how he’s quick to act. When he has something on his mind he can’t settle down until he does something about it. He can also decide to go on trips just 3 days before. Even overseas. I’m the careful type so the complete opposite.
Ren: He lives in his own original world. But maybe at times a deep darkness also spreads around in that world… We want to light it up for him.
Sho: Genki, we’re waiting for your return.
J is for…
“Jinguji Yuta”
Kishi: He’s like someone who jumped out of a manga. Like an organic 2.5-dimensional person.
Kaito: He’s always calm. He feels like a brother who is much older.
Jin: I think surprisingly I can be cold. When I have no interest in something, even if someone brings the topic up with me I’ll ignore it. But if I agree on something I’ll get hyped up. The difference is drastic.
Sho: Recently he’s been liberal with his spending! (lol)
Ren: He’s the one that rounds us up at the end. When we’re all goofing around too much and become uncontrollable, at the end it will be Jin who will put us in order.
K is for…
“Kishi Yuta”
Kaito: A very kind grandpa.
Jinguji: I like how he doesn’t put on airs. I like how he has a strong sense of self.
Ren: He’s a serious person! When you talk to him you’ll realise that he’s overthinking a lot of things by himself. So we want to carry that heavy baggage together for him.
Sho: Super pure.
“Kaze ni Nore”
Kishi: This song will grow on you. It’s the CM song for Shingaku-zemi. The first time I heard it I could already picture the commercial in my head.
Kaito: It’s very refreshing, and personally I think it’s a “The Idol” type of song. Refreshing feeling, sparkly feeling, youthful feeling… the mighty trio!
Jin: (In a good way) It’s very apt for spring season.
“Kimi wo Matteru”
Kishi: It’s an addictive song, even in my private time I find myself listening to it and even humming it subconsciously. The lyrics are really good and has a strong message. We also feel empowered by this song. Not just the fans, but I hope everyone who is hiding within their shell would listen to this song even just once. Then hopefully they’ll know about us from there.
Kaito: As the times keep changing, people with no self-confidence, people with no dreams, people who feel stuck in their life… This is a fight song for them.
Jin: I think you can easily learn the song after hearing it once or twice. The melody is easy to remember and makes the lyrics stand out. When I saw Takahashi Yu-san’s lyrics, I sincerely thought it was really good.
Sho: It’s a song that’s determined to give you a push.
Ren: In my heart I am truly waiting for you who’s working hard!
L is for…
“Lyric” King & Prince are really particular about lyrics. Each of us have strong preferences. But because we hope that by going through that selection process we can produce something better, we all just say what we think.
“Love Song” A word that starts with L… Hmm, long, large, legend… Let’s do love song. Because I’ve always loved listening to love songs.

“Music” I want to be exposed to more music and learn different kinds of appeal. I don’t care about the genre.
“Mummy” I’m always grateful to her.
“Marmot” Movie, motion, m… Ah, I want to pet a marmot. It’s cute ♡

“Nagase Ren”
Kishi: He’s so pure that he falls for pranks easily.
Kaito: My older twin.
Jin: Recently, we threw a surprise birthday party for him. Because he turned 20, I gave him a glass he can drink alcohol or juice out of. He was brought up in Kansai after all, so his talk is strong in Kansai flavour. That’s another charm of his.
Sho: Ren’s charm? His stylishness //
Ren: I think you’ll know after talking to me but, I am a huge dumbass. Seriously. So please just enjoy it…

“Olympic” I feel lucky that the Olympics are going to be held in Japan where I was born and raised, because then no matter what sport I watch I’ll feel empowered. I’m interested in all kinds of sports.
“Old” I like old things. For example, the top I wore to come here was something from 40 years ago and I like to wonder about what kind of person was the previous owner. Not just clothes but musical instruments too, I want an old guitar. I have one old electric guitar. The previous owner used it a lot so it developed a good sound.
“Ocean” I want to have a heart as wide as the sea.

"Pure"
Kaito: In King & Prince, everyone is pure, serious, and does everything with all their might!
Sho: PPP. Pineapple, Pocket, Pomp, Perfume… Ah, pure! I don’t want to be corrupted by the entertainment world!
“Paprika” Paprika! I hate it. I will never be able to eat it. It’s just something good to look at.
“Prince” Something like, Prince members, we’ll be in your care from now on too.

“Question” I want to know what girls of our generation look for in men. Other than looks (lol). Is it economic power, a sense of security, a sense of humour? Do they like to be in a relationship for a long time, or prefer to consider within a shorter span? I want concrete answers.

“Recording”
Kishi: When we’re recording, the line distribution is already decided and we just sing our own parts. I do think about wanting to sing my parts well. I want to sing a song that speaks to the soul. That’s my goal.
Sho: I felt great singing the new songs!

“Song” I want to be able to express message through songs.
“Smile&Stoic” I’m not good with either! I want to become stoic!

“Takahashi Kaito”
Kishi: Kaito, huh… Hmm… Actually he’s very smart. He has good intuition too. I respect him.
Jin: I think if he’s a girl he’ll be a lot of work (lol). Because he’s quite the worrywart. He’s the most concerned about how people perceive him. He’s sensitive, I think. Sometimes he asks me for advice, but since I don’t really care about how people see me… I’m the type that just wants the people I like to like me. I don’t try to get everyone to like me. But, Kaito tries hard in that aspect. In that sense, he has high aspirations.
Ren: He’s good at dance! He pulls the group forwards in dance.
Sho: He likes to be spoiled, extremely.

“Unique” The members’ unique points? Just being around Kishi-kun is calming. That sense of security is amazing! Jin, once he starts fooling around he can’t stop - that gap is irresistible! Genki-kun is a little different from the average person, that’s where he’s interesting. Hirano Sho is an ultra airhead. I’m used to it though (lol). Ren is a modern boy. Ultra sensitive to trends.
“Uniform” Our uniform is generally white isn’t it? We wear clothes that someone who got off of a horse would wear. It has it’s own set of problems - it’s hard to eat in it! What if I dirty the costume!
V is for…
“Victory”
Kishi: I want us to be a group that has the strength to go through any hardship.
Ren: I want to win in everything.
“Vocal” Everyone has a special quality to their voice, and I like that it’s all different. I especially like Kishi-kun singing a ballad. My own voice sounds like a child so I hate it.
“ViVi” Victory, Venus, Vacation… ViVi! It’s not a magazine we get to be on for every issue, so I’m excited for this one. It seems like we’ll be exposed to a yet another age group of girls. I’m happy that not only Johnny’s fans, but ViVi readers will be able to see us too.
W is for…
“World” I want to send our entertainment to people all over the world.
“Wow” I want to make lots of people say that.
“Wake Up” The early bird gets the worm! I make sure to get up early.
“Whenever” No matter when, as long as the 6 of us are together I think we’ll be alright!
“Win” The first song we sang together was Katsunda WIN! It was the first original song the 6 of us sang together before we even had a group name, so it’s full of memories.
X is for…
“X JAPAN” I love them. I’m from Chiba so I feel an attachment there. I sing their songs in karaoke too. The ones that are the most exciting are Forever Love and Kurenai.
“X-ray vision” I want to have toushi* ability. I want to toushi in things that will last. Like houses. Oh, not that toushi? The “seeing through things” one? I want that too. Inside people there is a black part and a white part right? I want to be able to tell them apart. [T/N 透視能力 toushi nouryoku is clairvoyance, from Wikipedia: the alleged ability to gain information about an object, person, location, or physical event through extrasensory perception. But at first Kishi was thinking about this toushi 投資, which means invest or investment.]
“Xmas” Last Christmas I did… not spend with the members. In 2019, I want to spend Christmas with all the members. I want to cling to tandoori chicken with everyone.

“You are my Princess” Prince’s song. The part where Genki-kun puts a ring on I don’t know, either his pinky or his ring finger will make you kyaa. Everyone who became a fan of us should watch it. You should buy the DVD and watch it. Do I want to do that move too? Nah, I am not the person in charge for that munekyun stuff. Iwahashi-kun’s version is better.

“Zero” One year after debut, I still want to absorb many things so I reset my feelings on that to level zero!

Kishi: I love animals. Even right now, I want to go to the zoo. At the zoo I am the most excited to see the hippopotamus and the rhinoceros. They look hard, so I wonder how they evolved into that. They’re almighty aren’t they? I like almighty things.
Ren: King & Prince itself is like a zoo. Because we’re noisy.
