yup - I used the guide from http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/ (which I'm assuming has similar info to the one you're using) and managed to claim £700 back for myself and did the same for one of my friends and got £1200 back for them - both from Barclays; it is such a nice feeling to actually be receiving money from your bank :D
the process was really easy, I sent them a letter telling them what I was claming for and four weeks later had a letter back with an offer on it; which I accepted, a week later and the money was in my account. A word to the wise as well; when I did my friends for her I worked out the interest on the payments which she managed to get back so go get them for all you can.
Things might be slightly delayed at the moment; I have a friend who works for a major high street bank in the department which is processing all of these claims and he says they are inundated and things are running really behind. I did ask him about the case the other day and he's not been given any instructions to do anything differently, ie. as long as the charges are genuine, just to refund them.
This could provide guidance to further cases (though it was only district court, so its not a binding precedent) and is likely to encourage banks to fight claims rather than rolling with them.
ooh that is not good, doesn't sound like it was a clear case though.
I'm hoping that Barclays refund me before the new law is put into place, not sure what it will be but there is some work going on around it. I just think it's ludicrous that I get charged £30 for going £5 overdrawn!

Anyway, I shall keep at it until I get a result!

I wrote a few letters, and took a few liberties, but eventually got somewhere! Good luck with your lot dear.
