Winter is just around the corner and that means cold days and even colder nights and for some of us that is no problem, that's what we have heating for, yet for those living on the streets it's a tough time of year. (Approximately 2618 children under the age of 12 years with parents will be homeless in Victoria on any given night, 4663 children

Yeah it's funny how little things like this, that we rarely think of, actually make such a big difference to peoples' lives.

Apparently it's just a Victorian thing, run by a small group (six people?) of volunteers.

NSW too... I have a coat that was just going to go to the clothing bin, but I think our local one goes to an op shop rather than direct to the people.
