Safely in Tel Aviv. The overall efficiency of Ben Gurion International makes me want to cry: My bag was waiting for me when I cleared passport control, and I was only in line at passport control for a couple of minutes. I was in my hotel room 45 minutes after touchdown, and most of that was the 12-mile cab ride from the airport. I'm a bit crispy ( Read more... )

if this is larry's new 50-seat front with the wide screen, i'm pretty impressed. that, and the service is pretty damn good lately. i've gotten literally fully off larry's food more than once.

larry's steerage isn't so bad. i think they re-jiggered the seats so you could get more seats, and the flight attendants treat you like their favorite grandchildren.

I had a pretty stroppy one on this flight, she kept waking people up and yelling at them to pull their window shades down. The seats were pretty good, though, and the trays were actually mounted high enough that they could fold down all the way without my legs getting in the way.

We flew from Montreal to Toronto on one of those back in May. It was headed on to someplace in Europe. I concur. That's one damn sexy plane.
