You suck. By which I mean rock.

This is great! Love how you build the drums slowly...them's real baggypipes, right? Neatness.

Can you hear you in the backing vocals clearly, and the cheery post-track laughter. Nice touch in the latter there.

Fantastic solo. Stop being awesome at the electrified string-ed banjotar.

All in all, great track. Really, really great recording.

Meant "can hear you." Not asking if you can hear yourself. I assume you cannot, because you are Tommy.

Thanks! Them is real baggypipes, yes. The fade-in was our producer/engineer Greg's idea. He was like, "What if we started with just drums and bagpipes, because those are the traditional Scottish military instruments, and we had them fade in as though it were an army marching over a hill into view?" And we were like, holy shit that's awesome.

The laughter at the end comes from when we were recording the sounds of glasses clinking and that sort of thing to add to the bar atmosphere. (I don't think much of that made it into the final mix, although you can hear some glass breaking and stuff somewhere.) Anyway, we go to do the first take of us clinking glasses together, and Brian drops his beer bottle. Like a fool. Needless to say, after a long day it was the funniest imaginable thing ever. So all that laughter is real.

Anyway, yeah, we're really happy with how it came out. It's super-fun to play, also.
