friendship and forward
as I get older I realize that the concept of friendship has changed so very much from my youth. when you are young you define yourself by friendship. you seek approval and adapt to new surroundings with friends.

so many amazing things happening. a lot of change on the horizon. I feel the need to center myself and an urge to cleanse and get back to basics.

great new year
this one will probably take a long time to finish. so much to say about 2014. easily one of the best years of my life. i feel i have grown so much and so has alyse And i marriage. as time goes on we take on new things. this year i went on an 8 day cruise with my family. it was admitted not as relaxing as alyse and i planned, but still fun and great ( Read more... ) -
anniversary
had an amazing holiday and anniversary with alyse. im about to leave the bahama house and head home. i will update my belated review of 2014 and holidays as well as my goals and hopes for the future. im very relaxed and happy at the moment. so far 2015 has been great.

been a while update
making progress in most areas of my life. have been in a supervisory position at work now for a bit, and I'm learning to not take things as seriously as I have. because no part of my job would return the favor.
physically I'm feeling great, surpassed weight loss goals and building endurance. just have to watch the muscle mass loss.

artistic surges.
feeling artistic lately. have been wanting to draw and play guitar a lot more. I'm not sure what is fueling this new wave of artistic energy, or where it goes when I'm seemingly stuck in a creative drought but I'm enjoying it. here's 1 of 2 recent drawing with colored pencils. not my best work, but fun to do on a night shift to stay awake
