Some of you may have heard about the Pope's comments on Islam, in which he quoted a text from the Eastern Roman Emperor Manuel II Paleologus who said "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached

Oooh, woah! The Mujahideen Shura Council is/was Zarqawi's little band of butt-fuckers. THey are NOT representative of the whole of Islam

They may have thin skins, but we have some thick heads. In many ways, violence is all that will bring our attention to them. They can talk until they are blue in the face, and we'd pat them on the heads and say "that's nice. we'll think about it" but if they take horrible, drastic action, we actually look at them. It's a very bad cycle to be in.

Yeah, umm, some Muslims got so pissed about this comment that they shot a nun.

This crap is why I sometimes think we should outlaw public religion, punishable by immediate death. :P

But I've always been a person of extremes. :P
