AS;DLFKJ OH MY GOD. Not sure where to start but: I love the way that Tezuka feels like all is right in the world when he sees that Ryoma is participating. I don't think they've ever considered tennis without the other and a;ldfkj so cute. And then "worst kept secret" and haha apparently not because the journalists didn't seem to know at all, though you'd think that enough of them would stalk the two of them to find out pretty quickly.

I kind of expected the Regulars to pop out and Taka-san to wave a "Tezuka/Ryoma, FIGHT-O" flag in the middle of the press conference. And Ryoma who wants to go back to Japan even with all that chaos for Karupin. ♥!!!

This is so much awesome, and I'm just sitting here smiling at the end of it. ♥♥♥♥♥

Thank you! Yes, I definitely think they can't consider tennis without each other now; they're each other's rivals, in a way, except neither would mind losing to the other once it was a game worthwhile. ♥ Anyone else, though, is fair game. :D Well, I think Atobe and Fuji might have had a hand in the journalists not particularly finding out, and I think Tezuka most likely would have cautioned Ryoma into keeping their relationship quiet.

I did consider putting in the rest of the Regulars, and then decided maybe having them arrive for this one game might have been a little implausible (but it's Tenipuri, so...). Thank you so much for reading!

No worries; any feedback is better than none at all! One thing I loved about writing this fic is definitely some of the images that popped into my head as I was writing it, and that was one of them. And I love Atobe even if he keeps being unrequited in everything I write him in. Thank you!

Hee! I admit I haven't really read any Pillar Pair in a long while, so reading yours after said time was really a wonderful read.

I still want to see Tezuka and Ryoma drunk, together, though. I LOVED the line about them both being rather, ah, weak drunks. Because that just shows, to me, how perfectly your characterizations of them could mesh with the canon. It just works.

This was the perfect first-back-to-Tenipuri fic! I can't tell you how great this fic was. Your Atobe rocks! Hannah was great too... and I love how this is centred around Tezuka and Ryoma, not with half of Seigaku interfering.

The combo of Fuji and Atobe is just too scary to contemplate though.

Hannah is going to pop up in the Epic later on (which, yes, I still am writing, I swear), but I couldn't resist putting her in this as well. Well, logically, I couldn't have most of Seiagku there since they're all adults (apparently, hahaha) and have jobs and everything. I tried to make it just a little realistic, as much as anything involving Tenipuri can be, anyway.

It really is a frightening combination.
