The ending scene with Tezuka and Fuji reading the newspaper together is just gleesome.

This would have been a lot longer if it hadn't been a time exercise. Also, this is strictly from Ryoma's POV, so there's a lot of Tezuka and Fuji interaction behind the scenes that Ryoma never witnesses, so I guess that's a lot of the development there. I did start a scene from Fuji's POV, but it started getting a little messy. :|

I think the bit with the newspaper is the little bit of Tezuka/Fuji I put in there. :D My version of Power Triangle seems to be situations where Tezuka and Fuji are more interested in Ryoma than in each other. Ooops.

And thank you for pointing that out to me. It's been fixed; I was expecting more than a few typos to get away from me. ^^;

Fuji POV is done only at great peril to the writer and fic... ^^ You did a far better job than I ever could, so I'm being hypocritical here.

I tried a Fuji fic which I sent to Aja. I got back almost two pages of beta notes for every page of fic, and I was too scared to rewrite it. I might pick it up again once school starts and I need a distraction. XD

It certainly wasn't my intention to get defensive, so if I did I apologise. Only the behind-the-scenes Tezuka and Fuji interaction was something I ended up thinking about as I was rereading. :)

Oh man. Thank you. ♥ That said, I also have to point what amazing PoT betas I have, and I owe a huge amount of thanks to them. :) They really make the difference between my first drafts and the finished product. Cim, who beta'd "Rising", did an absolute fabulous job on it (particularly on making me rewrite the sex scenes until they sucked much less, no, uh, bad pun intended. ^^;)

So this, as a writing exercise, was not beta'd, hence why I'm a little nervous about it. *crosses fingers that you'll like it*

And OMG did I like it. Power Triangle is my very very favorite pairing (OK, it's technically a trio but I love it more than each of the pairings), and I'd never looked at it precisely this way... plus the sex scene is absolutely scorching, my heart raced while I read it because I thought it was real...or maybe it was and I didn't get it? (I need to reread, I was so distracted by the HOTTTTNESS).

This fic is going straight into my infamous "Fit to Print" folder ^__^

I don't know why I liked that so much. The difference in experience? S'all good.

Ryoma wonders for a wild moment if Tezuka is going to kiss him, but they simply stay like that for several minutes, and Ryoma thinks this is just as good as any kiss Fuji can give him.

The dream blurs, as dreams have a tendency to do, and Ryoma has the peculiar sensation of losing time, and suddenly Fuji's legs are wrapped around him, and Fuji is gasping and Ryoma is moving, and it's the strangest and most amazing feeling in the world. But that's nothing compared to the feeling of Tezuka inside him, his arms carefully braced on either side of Ryoma, and, crap, Ryoma realises, spasms making him thrust deeply into Fuji and causing them both to cry out, they're both going to destroy him.Um, guh? O.O I hated threesomes in HP. Now I cannot get enough of them. This fandom owns my soul

Wow. Everytime I think I'm moving on from PoT, I read an amazing fic like this (actually, no, not like this, I think this is my first power triangle fic). It used to be I needed long, chaptered plotty fics to remain interested in a fandom, but these one-shots of any size are so good.

Why are PoT fics so satisfying? I'll never understand.

This is your first Power Trianle? Eeep! I have noticed PoT does seem to lack long fics (I have one in progress, but it's a slow, slow progress...). I really don't know, either. I love writing them, though. ♥
