PoT drabble [Atobe/Tezuka; PG]

Dec 04, 2006 04:13

Written for tokyostory. Atobe/Tezuka, PG.

England is overcast and grey this year; rain has interrupted play enough times that Tezuka is starting to become irritated. A message from the receptionist as he passes by, informing him that he is expected to breakfast with one Atobe Keigo in the morning, does significantly less to improve his growing annoyance. Waking up to a sky that assuredly promises rain, Tezuka briefly contemplates falling back asleep or dressing completely casual, but finally sighs and decides that there's no point in being petty.

He showers, dressing carefully, and spends far too long polishing his glasses. He's at the door, steeling himself, when a knock makes him blink, pause, and then open the door.

Atobe is standing in the corridor, impeccably dressed and perfectly composed.

Tezuka stares and blinks slowly. "I... assumed we were meeting downstairs," he says at last.

Atobe raises an eyebrow, his expression foretelling that Tezuka is about to have a headache. "I didn't say exactly what breakfast we were eating," he says, stepping forward. Tezuka automatically steps back, allowing Atobe to close the door after him as a smile curls his lips.

"I -" Tezuka begins, and only gets that far as Atobe grabs his shirt and pulls him forward, his mouth closing on his.

Tezuka decides that there are probably some advantages to rain, right when his legs give out and Atobe propels him back onto the bed.

I will get better and attempt some actual Atobe characterisation in the future. Promise.
