I GOT A JOB!!!!! I'll be based out of Hernando but will be commuting for a couple of months for training. I will be working for DHS Child Support enforcement taking people to court who need to pay their child support. I can start as early as Monday or as late as the first of July.

Now, I'm celebrating by eating COOKIES!!!!!!

Congrats! That was the word at the DHS conference, but since it wasn't 100% and they were still deciding between Greenville and Desoto I decided it was best to keep my mouth shut. Welcome aboard! Just don't set your expectations too high, we are the state after all ;)

WOH! you knew I got a job just not where?? HAX! lol

I didn't 100% know...There were two Jennifers who applied for those positions, and after conferring with Dana (I think that was her name - she's in Desoto) she explained that she though the other Jennifer that was the one that interviewed so terribly, which meant I was like 99% sure they were talking about you getting the job. I know 99% sounds damn sure, but I really, really didn't want to tell you wrong and get your hopes up and all, that and there was also talk of which county to put you in.

Oh, and that you can start that soon is wonderful! My boss is all but pulling teeth to get start dates for the attorney in Warren and the replacement one in Hinds (we had one bail with pretty much no notice - go her) and they were hired a few weeks ago. Something about the AG's office being slow with their part of the paperwork *shrug*
