You know - I've felt like that a few times that I've invoked a 'sick' day. It's sort of like an unscheduled appointment to reconnect with yourself. After giving two days of my weekend to someone else's convention, I decided I wanted Monday to myself. I called in for a sick day myself. I grabbed a few more hours of sleep I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Watched episodes of CSI and House I had saved on TiVo, and had myself a decent dinner without thought to price or calories.

I got nothing done of any consequence aside from a load of laundry, but I needed to just take the day off for my own mental health.
