DOCTOR WHO: PLANET OF THE DEAD and my thoughts thereof. Watch out for the bonus prize.
I'm gonna keep it short. I know I've said that before and failed, but this time I don't have the means of including screencaps (due to actually watching this on tv - this barely ever happens!) So.
It was nothing mind-blowing. Of course, it was a delight to see the Doctor in action again. I forget how awesome and pretty he is. Speaking of the pretty, there was a Doctor Who Weakest Link Special on last night. The cast's bantering made me happy. And when David Tennant came on screen I was all O.O I think I must've forgotten just how attractive this man is. He even makes Anne Robinson weak at the knees. She totally made a sad-face when he was voted off. That woman who played Jackie was awesome, though (Camille, was it?). Anyway, back to Who...
I quite liked the companion. A bit too cocky but that was all a part of her character so I didn't mind it too much. Except when she kissed him, at which point my fingernails made deep grooves in my palms as I burned a hole in the tv with my eyes. Not that I blame the woman. I mean, who wouldn't? All the companions do, after all. But.....FLAEKGBESJBFGETOFFHIM. Okay, psychofangirl is calm. Moving on...
I'm going to admit that I like Lee Evans. Okay, so he's a complete clown, but he really does make me laugh, so I was happy to see him in the episode. And his fangirling over the Doctor was brilliant ^_^ Bless. "I love you! I love you. I love you........I love you."
But, really, the end bits were the best, no doubt. The bit where he said he he couldn't handle having a companion only to lose them made me so sad for him D: But more importantly....
"He will knock four times."

And on an unrelated note, I went into town today cos I've almost finished Ship of Magic and I'm too impatient to wait till I next see
hikari_datenshi (i.e. Tuesday) to filch her copy of The Mad Ship. So I went to get my own copy. Hoped I'd be able to find one in charity shop, so I went to the 3 that I knew of (on opposite sides of town) but no luck. Ended up having to spend £8.99 on it. £8.99!! Extortionate, I tell ya! Still, I quite like the new covers they've got on 'em. All shiny and pretty.
Anyway, thought I'd have a bit of a wander, bought a few other things and had a look around the market and the food and crafts fayre - lots of shiny, pretty things, and lots of mouth-watering things, but I managed to resist those. I also thought I'd have a look in HMV and maybe get some SPN dvds if they were on offer. And while I was browsing, I saw this:
HA! I fortunately managed to suppress any maniacal giggles and thus did not scare the other customers away, but I did break out into a huge grin and immediately took a photo. Lulz.
