It affected the whole neighborhood, traffic signals and-all.
We were due at the Civil Air Patrol facility by 8 a.m. for some training sessions.
Fortunately, we just had to get dressed [by flashlight] and get over there; yesterday we'd been responsible for bringing the morning donuts-and-such.
When I reported the outage to the electric company, they quoted 9:30-ish for power restoration.
When the sessions wound up about 11 a.m., we headed for a Waffle House, and noticed as we passed Our Exit that the traffic signals were not yet working there. By the time we finished brunch, and got back to our exit, the signals were working, and the power was on in our apartment. By the time flashing on the clock, though it had only been-so for about 5 minutes.
