Sometimes I like to try to imagine what my life would have been like if this thing or that thing had happened differently. What would have immediately followed, and what would unfold down the line? It amuses me. And sometimes, makes me think just how well things turn out sometimes, even when you thought at some previous point that everything had

Oh, yes... one of my favorite movies is "It's a Wonderful Life" with the big question of what would have been had you never existed. The related question you bring up is just as interesting, though. For me personally, every so often I wonder how life would have been different had I waited to hear from Stanford and been accepted there, instead of at Northwestern. I am fine with how my life has turned out, but I can't help but wonder now and then!

Yep, all the time. There are moments that if I could, I would go back and do differently and take the chance that things may end up worse.
